beautiful mature grounds, howler monkeys nearby, lovely happy hour drinks
The chairs around the pool are painfully uncomfortable!!! Food prices are outrageous for mediocre quality, and the lack of nearby restaurants makes it feel very isolated for visitors without a car!!!

I spent four nights here in the Forest Suite. The staff was friendly, always ready to help. The breakfast included was quite good, a mix of options to choose from. The hotel grounds were beautiful, showcasing lovely gardens with plenty of wildlife around. Monkeys made for an entertaining show near the pool area. However, the restaurant menu felt limited, and the food portions were small for the price. I faced issues with my room cleanliness. it wasn’t serviced unless I asked. Also, the beach in front wasn’t ideal for swimming. I preferred to walk further down for cleaner water. Limited dining options outside the hotel. a rental car is a must for exploring. I wish there were more local restaurants nearby. The pool area was nice, with sufficient spots around to lounge and enjoy the sun, but the pool chairs could use replacements. they were uncomfortable after a short while. All in all, this hotel had great potential, but a few tweaks could enhance the experience significantly.

missingWrote a review on 21 Julpool cleanliness
Breakfast options are limited, lacking variety and flair, which may leave some guests wanting more in the morning. The swimming pool isn't exactly inviting, showing signs of neglect like dirty water and algae on the walls. Moreover, the pricing for food at the restaurant comes off as excessive compared to the quality, making it frustrating for families expecting more value. Additionally, the absence of enough towels, especially for pool and beach usage, can be a hassle, and some maintenance issues disrupt the overall ambiance, like loose metal rods on the terrace. With room for improvement in these areas, it feels as if the hotel has yet to fulfill its potential.
